Hello and welcome!
My name is Silvia, and I am the artist behind Leoa's Reborn Creations, based in Perth, Western Australia. Originally from Brazil, I have always been drawn to art, creativity, and the beauty of handmade work. In 2020, my daughter, Lara, introduced me to the wonderful world of reborn dolls. What began as a special moment shared between mother and daughter quickly became a passion that changed my life.
Together, we discovered the incredible artistry of transforming a simple vinyl kit into a lifelike baby. From that very first reborn, I fell in love with every stage of the creative process. Lara continues to be my greatest inspiration, and having her by my side on this journey makes every creation even more meaningful.
Each reborn baby is carefully handcrafted using authentic, original kits, Genesis Heat Set Paints, and premium materials. Multiple translucent layers are applied to create natural skin tones, depth, and delicate details, resulting in babies full of realism, personality, and character. From painting and rooting to weighting, assembling, and styling, every step is completed with patience, love, and meticulous attention to detail. My goal is to create babies that feel incredibly lifelike while fostering meaningful connections with the people who welcome them into their lives. Whether purchased as a treasured collectible, a heartfelt gift, a companion doll, or a source of comfort, I hope each baby brings joy, love, and lasting memories to its new family. The painting process is my favourite part of creating a reborn. It allows me to slow down, immerse myself completely in the artistry, and enjoy the quiet magic of watching a blank vinyl kit gradually come to life. Every tiny detail tells a story, and every finished baby is truly one of a kind.
Since beginning my reborn journey, I have lovingly created 100+ reborn babies and have been honoured to receive several awards and ribbons at reborn doll shows. While these achievements mean so much to me, the greatest reward has always been the heartfelt messages, photos, and stories I receive from families and collectors whose lives have been touched by one of my babies.
At Leoa's Reborn Creations, I believe reborn dolls are so much more than works of art. They create connections, bring comfort, inspire imagination, and often become cherished members of a family. Every baby I create carries a little piece of my heart, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to share that with people all around the world.
Thank you for visiting my nursery and supporting my business. Your kindness allows me to continue doing what I love, and I am truly honoured to share this journey with collectors, families, fellow artists, and reborn enthusiasts around the world.
With love, Silvia
